Hi Olivier, I solved the issue by installing version 23037 (it has some minor problems on my device), following the SD card method: http://oldsap.freeforums.org/dx900-flashings-methods-magic-bytes-t16.html
If you prefer to go back to the original rom and you have acer/eten compatibility issue (the flashing program complains about not compatible hardware) you should extract the temp.dat file from an official rom upgrade, rename it to temp.bin and use it in the SD card method.

il vous suffit de copier le fichier non compressé "Patch_Acer_1.0_WM61_DX900 Fix Power Consumptionsur" sur une carte SD à partir du PC (c'est je pense la méthode la plus simple).ensuite, placer la carte dans le telephone. A partir du téléphone, double cliquer sur ce fichier et suivre les instructions.

The 23052 is not (yet) localized. Install 23037 Lite if you want 6.5 +french.
