The zoombar on HTC’s latest devices are really under-used, but now it is a lot more functional.

Owners of the HTC Touch Diamond 2 and HTC Touch Pro 2 will definately be familiar of the zoombar located directly above the device's hardware buttons. Currently, the function of the zoombar is restricted to only zooming in/out of selected applications.Now, dotcompt from xda-developers has created a tweak to give the zoombar a new lease of life. After installing this CAB file into your device, you can now scroll TouchFLO 3D tabs, e-mails in the mail client, music in the albums app and favourite contacts in the contact app all using the zoombar. What's great is that the zoom function still works normally even after the installation. A soft reset is needed after the installation for the tweak to work.
