C# IDE Mobile

C# IDE Mobile, as its name implies, is a C# Integrated Development Environment which executes on Windows Mobile 5 or 6 with .NET Compact Framework 2. t allows you to write programs using the C# language and the .NET 2.0 Compact Framework (.NET2CF). The program is parsed and executed at runtime (there is no compilation or link required).

Important note: No .NET SDK IS REQUIRED: Unlike other tools which do "C# Scripting" by wrapping CSC.EXE, C# IDE Mobile doesn't require you to have the .NET SDK (which includes the compilers). It only requires having the .NET 2.0 (Compact or not) Framework Redistributable (i.e. the runtime .NET). It isn't a wrapper around the Microsoft CSC.EXE compiler.

This game is based off the New Super Mario Brothers mini-game called Whack-A-Monty (from the Nintendo DS).

Requirements:
In this version (0.1), I have only included support for Pocket PC 320x240 or 240x240 resolutions. Also, I have only tested this on WM5 & WM6 emulators. This will only work on phones with a touchscreen.

This game was written in C# and thus requires .NET CF 2.0.

Hexiom

It is a basic puzzle game.

Your job is to place the numbered pegs on a hexagonal grid, such that each peg has as many adjacent pegs as the number on it. To move a peg, tap on it and then tap where you want to move it. Tap a peg and then tap another one to swap them.

Tap the top left corner to quit the game, top right to start a new game, bottom right to set difficulty of the puzzle. The difficulty is not working half as well as I would like. Right now, it controls how "crowded" the board is. This is sort of correlated to the difficulty of the puzzle but not as strongly as I would like.

Don't expect any fancy graphics. And there is no sound right now. But it is a very addictive puzzle game.

Anyways, it is an exe file. Requires QVGA device, .NET 2.0. Works on my HERMES WM6. Just put the exe somewhere on your phone and run it. Have fun.

BlindRazer is a piece of software designed to run on a Pocket PC (Windows Mobile).

It function is to keep track of the blinds (small-blind, big-blind and ante) during a poker-tournament (i use it for texas hold'em home tournaments).

BlindRazer's features currently include:

- If current BT state is OFF it will switch it to CONNECTABLE
- If current BT state is CONNECTABLE it will switch it to DISCOVERABLE
- If current BT state is DISCOVERABLE it will switch it off

There is no indication icon, nor is it running in the background and eating ressources. You simly execute it, it changes the BT state and exits...

All back office Scid code has been ported to Pocket PC (even book handling and tablebases). The UI interface still needs to be completed.
Until now, implemented functionalities (non exhaustive list) :

- load/save of Scid bases;
- several bases can be opened with the possibility to switch between them;
- import of PGN files and export of Scid bases to PGN files;

The source is basically a skeleton plugin you can use to build your own plugin on (no license / copyright to limit you) and it already has several tricks needed for the plugin to display correctly:

* VGA compatibility
* Text size matching system settings
* Proper header in settings dialog (like on system plugins)
* Proper text color when selected (according to theme)
* No blinking all today screen on change
* Proper resize when switching between landscape and portrait

When I was writing my first plugin I could not find all these little fixes concentrated in a single article so I had to fish for each one as the bug reports came in.

The devices that support A2DP (most wm6.0 bluetooth devices), come with 2 audio drivers installed:

1) The "Audio Output" Driver (supported since ppc 2002)
2) The "Bluetooth Advanced Audio Output" Driver, that is responsible of sending audio data over a L2CAP Bluetooth connection, as per A2DP protocol

When the user connects a Stereo A2DP headset, and selects the "Wireless Stereo" profile, the Bluetooth Adv. Audio Output becomes the nr. 1 audio output route, and is indexed as the First audio driver. Any application will output sound by using that driver.

The problem is that sometimes we are already listening to audio in the device's speakers, and then suddenly we want to switch the output to our a2dp headsets - this is sometimes problematic, as the First audio driver changes from "Audio Output" to "Bluetooth Adv. Audio Output" and the applications currently playing audio need to be restarted.

For such issues, I have provided a tool, as freeware, that will install as a today plugin and offer the user the possibility of instantly switching the audio between Device Speaker and A2DP Stereo Headset.

It is designed for WM6.0, Microsoft Bluetooth stack, please download it and let me know how it works for you. There are some more modifications that will be done, so this is only Beta-1

I found something similar by v3patel, but it didn't allow me to prioritise, e.g. a 'personal' ringtone to take precedence over a 'business' ringrone when a contact is in both categories.

....so I made this app. I hope that it might be useful for others too, do as ever let me know of any bug reports or feature requests.

It uses a password you provide and encrypts either a block of text or files using 256bit Rijndael (AES). This level of encryption was given the ok to encrypt Top Secret documents.
