Custom Scroll

HTCScroll customizer

I would like to present You a small and simple application called Custom Scroll. It gives You a chance to take the opportunity customizing scrolling behavior of HTCScroll Windows addon (which is used in File Explorer, MS Contacts, Programs, Settings... - everywhere where scrolls are used - and we are using fingers (flick gestures) to scroll...

I've noticed that when I'm trying new ROM many times "scrolling feature" need to be modified by myself, so why don't we just make it quick and simple, with predefined checked and accepted values - even maybe "solutions" ?
that's why I've made that application...
- cichy3000

dr G from PPCGEEKS.com discovered that:

Pagelow = Low speed scroll page size
Pagehigh = High speed scroll page size
Speedlow = Low speed scroll speed (ms delay)
Speedhigh = High speed scroll speed (ms delay)
Pantype = Enable/disable grab scrolling default 1, 0=disable

The page size is the number of - units - the given interface scrolls when the low or high speed scroll is activated by gesturing - finger flick. For example a pagelow of 20 would scroll 20 contacts each time you flick scroll in the contact list. This is why with the default 50 and 80 settings, flick scrolling causes excessive scrolling in contacts with the device initially.

The low speed scroll is activated by the initial flick gesture. The high speed scroll is activated by an ADDITIONAL flick gesture DURING the scroll initiated by the low speed scroll gesture. So it's kind of like "revving up" the scroll.

The speedlow and speedhigh delays are the delays between the "units" scrolled during either scroll. As such, the speedlow number is higher than the speedhigh number. Thing is, if you set the speedlow number too small, the low speed scroll will finish so quickly, you will not be able to initiate the high speed scroll with an additional gesture.

FingerMenu v1.08

a new program for our windows mobile devices that replaces the standard menu with one more finger-friendly.

The program is very simple. It consists of three parts:

1) FingerMenuDll.dll: a dll that is injected into process which menu we want to change
2) FingerMenuCTRL.exe: the program that actually show the finger friendly menu and interact with injected dll
3) FingerMenuCLOSE.exe: a simple program that close FingerMenuCTRL.

For now, you have to manually configure the application through the registry.
The installed cab creates a registry key under HKLM\Software\FingerMenu with two values

SelColor (REG_SZ): color of selected menu item expressed as RGB string (i.e. "0 38 255")
ScanTimeInterval (REG_DWORD): interval in milliseconds of injection procedure (default to 3 sec). Reduce it if you want less delay at application startup.

For each application you want to apply new menu, you have to create a new registry key under HKLM\Software\FingerMenu with a progressive number.
These are default registry keys created by cab installer

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\FingerMenu\App1]
"ClassName"="FEXPLORE"
"Enabled"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\FingerMenu\App2]
"ClassName"="HTCManila2D"
"Enabled"=dword:00000001

These two registry keys enable the new menu for Manila 2D and fexplore (only softkey menus, for now, sorry).
ClassName: windows class name of main program window (usually)
Enabled: 0 or 1 if you want to disable or enable.

Keep attention, registry keys start with App1, App2, ..., AppN. Numbers must be consecutive.
You can find windows class name using the good taskmanager from FdcSoft.

To start the application, tap on it in programs (under FingerMenu folder), or you can even add it to startup folder.

GreenButton

Override Green "Talk" Button functionality

How does this work?

GreenButton is an Open Source Windows Mobile 5.0+ program. It runs in the background as a very tiny executable (1kB) that waits for the Green Button (otherwise known as the "Talk" button) to be pressed. At that time, the specified program will be executed.

Advanced Configuration

GreenButton stores several settings in the registry under HKCU/Software/Supware.net/GreenButton:

HandleNormally
SendKeys
Activate
Run
This is how GreenButton interprets these settings when the green button is pressed (in this order):

If the active window text is found in the "HandleNormally" setting, then GreenButton will just return.
Else If a call is in progress, GreenButton will just return.
Else If the active window text is found in the "SendKeys" setting, then GreenButton will send that window WM_KEYUP / WM_KEYDOWN window messages.
Else If the class name specified by "Activate" setting is found, then GreenButton will activate that window.
Else If a command was specified from the command line, GreenButton will run that command.
Else, GreenButton will run the command specified in the "Run" setting.
How do I specify a program from the command line?
The default program built into GreenButton is iDialer (installed on device). But with a command line option, any program can be executed.

How do I change the program?
GreenButton is activated upon startup by a shortcut placed in "\Windows\Startup". Edit that shortcut (easiest to do over ActiveSync) and add your program as an argument (this example will execute Pocket IE upon Green Button press):

44#"\Program Files\GreenButton\GreenButton.exe" \Windows\iexplore.exe

MyTF3DIconExtractor

Automatically extract icons from TF3D

We were asked repeatedly how to extract icons from the only issues for TF3D. The operation is simple but requires several steps that are hand-made repetitive. So we created a simple program that makes this happen automatically. My TF3D Icon Extractor supports the themes composed of many files "* _manila", the issues with. Theme and the themes installed by CAB. In the new version, 2.0, was added support for drag'n'drop, and then just drag the files onto the program window that the whole operation is carried out automatically. In options, in addition to the extraction folder, you can also specify whether to include the Slider or not. The program requires no installation, but only. NET Framework 2.0. It's aviable in Italian and English, but you can add all the languages you want.

Touch Settings

Change your cube programs AND weather location.

This application, (a new version of the old 'BioTouch Settings') lets you customise your HTC Touch cube/today screen in many ways, changing which buttons launch which programs, etc. You can currently change the following:

- Your Music/Pictures/Video programs (change which apps and titles)
- Your 3x2 APLauncher on the cube (change the apps, icons and titles)
- Your Weather Location to be far more specific (i.e. not the limited in-built city selection)
- Your weather options (auto-update settings, etc.)
