Nitrogen is a Pocket PC music player that uses opensource decoders, providing a lightweight, yet powerful music playback.

Microfi Nitrogen is a native Windows Mobile application (unmanaged code) that allows you to play MP3 songs stored on your Pocket PC device.
It features a file browser, "Shuffle" and "Repeat" modes, a built-in sleep mode and a command to blank screen to prevent energy waste while playing music. Nitrogen uses the MAD decoder, which is opensource. As the official releases of MAD for Pocket PC seem to be discontinued, Nitrogen uses the libraries from a opensource player (GSPlayer).

Why did I make another one when there are plenty of good ones out there? (MortPlayer, GSPlayer, Pocket Player... etc). The reason is simple: When driving (stopped at the side of the road of course ...) playing a particular song out of many is excruciatingly difficult. I'm too used to the Jump feature in Winamp.
