Mavec

Mavec is a free mobile massively multiplayer online game (MMMOG) for Windows Mobile devices.

If you want a simple low bandwidth multiplayer game which won't demand hours of your time Mavec could be for you. If you want to get more involved you can write your own quests and design parts of the world using tools from the downloads section.

Mavec is not a full blown MMORPG. There's no combat and no class system although there is experience and questing. The turn based movement may put some people off, let me explain, you have to plot your movements then wait..... yes wait, pause, relax etc until your little virtual character walks to a new location. The idea is you can get on with your real life in the meantime, you know the sort of thing, like speaking to people, making a cup of tea, looking whilst you cross the road etc. Mavec was designed to be played in small bursts throughout the day over weeks and months. It'll take time and patience to reap it's full rewards.
